BEAVERCREEK — Leslie Dale Draeger, 66, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2014, after a long battle with cancer, at Hospice of Dayton with family and friends by her side and in her heart. She was born on June 14, 1947, the daughter of Harold and Ethel Bechert. A dedicated mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Leslie was known by all as trustworthy, loving, loyal and reliable. Known as an inspiring civic and community leader, among many other charitable and civic endeavors, Leslie raised over $500,000.00 for
and served the Beavercreek community in countless ways. Leslie had a long and successful career in the real estate industry, retiring in 2013 from Prudential after 30 years. Leslie was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Ethel Bechert (who epitomized the "greatest generation"); her loving husband Richard Draeger; her son Jeff Draeger; her son and daughter-in-law Scot and Michelle Draeger; her granddaughters Sofia Abigail Draeger and Ava Simone Draeger; her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Pamela Bechert; her nephews and nieces Chad and Daniel Bechert, and Jamie and Rustin Smith, and her great nieces Casey, Megan, Emily Bechert and Taylor Smith. She also leaves behind countless close friends. Personal respects may be made on Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 4-8 pm at Tobias Funeral Home at 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek.
