Thomas E. Babb of Xenia, Ohio, passed away November 7, 2012. He was born May 15, 1923 in Xenia, the son of Thomas E. Babb and Leah Davis Babb.
His wife Thelma Babb preceded him in death in 2009. Survivors include his son John Babb, his wife Amy and their two daughters Joanna and Elizabeth. His daughter Cindy Foley, her husband Michael and their two daughters Amy Foley and Jennifer and Ken Lisaius, plus two great granddaughters Virginia and Claire Lisaius.
During World War II Tom served with the US Army Air Corps in the European Theater in North Africa and France. Following the surrender of Germany, he was on his way to the Pacific when the war with Japan ended. After the war, Tom spent most of his career at Wright-Patterson Air force Base. Tom was a member of Eleazer United Methodist Church for many years, and an honorary lifetime member of the Old Timers Club in Xenia. Graveside services will be at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 9:30AM. Services are in care of McColaugh Funeral Home Inc. Xenia, Ohio.
