Edward Puzniak Obituary

FAIRBORN Edward Puzniak, age 83 of Fairborn, passed away on February 9, 2013. He was born to the late Harry and Jeanette Puzniak in Erie, PA. He is also preceded in death ny his sister, Vera Wentz. He is survived by his beloved and cherished wife, Peggy, whom he married wife on March 19, 1955. He graduated from Wilbur Wright High School in 1946, and served in the United States air Force. He was a graduate of Non-Commissioned Office Course during his military service. A veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving with the Strategic Air Command 28th Bomb Wing Operational Planning Team, and Headquarters 8th Air Force. He retired from Aeronautical Systems Division, WPAFB as a Management Analyst with the Avionic Engineering and Electronic Warfare Organizations after 30 years service. He served many years as Organization Chairman for Federal United Way Campaigns, Adopt-A-Family programs, and also devoted years of volunteer escort service with various hospitals. He attended Abiding Christ Lutheran Church. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 8200 W. National Rd., New Carlisle.
