Linda McDaniel, age 62 of Jamestown, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born May 15, 1951 in Jamestown, Ohio, daughter of the late Elwood and Ruby (Noe) Ramey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and also her sister, Brenda Ramey. She is survived by her husband Gary McDaniel, her children: Shelly Isaacs (Randy) of Huber Heights, and Doug McDaniel (Shilo) of Jamestown. She also is survived by three grandchildren: Shyanne McDaniel, Derek Simpson, and Dylan Isaacs, sister: Wanda Freidline (Steve) of Xenia, brothers: Dave Ramey (Karen) and Edgar Ramey (Bev) both of Jamestown. Linda is also survived by many other special friends and relatives. Linda was employed by Greene Memorial Hospital for a number of years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and crocheting. She also enjoyed volunteering for the New Jasper Fire Department.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 7th at 11:30AM at McColaugh Funeral Home Inc. 826 North Detroit Street, Xenia, Ohio with Dustin Yankasky and Keith Little officiating. Burial to follow at Silvercreek Cemetery in Jamestown. Friends may call Wednesday, November 6th from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the New Jasper Fire Department in Linda's name.
