Walter Paul Lempicki

FAIRBORN Walter Paul Lempicki, age 81 of Fairborn, passed away Monday November 5, 2012. He was born June 4, 1931 in Erie, PA, the son of the late Walter and Stefanie (Skloreoski) Lempicki. Paul served his country in the United States Navy during Korea and earned his bachelor's degree in engineering from Gannon University. He was employed in civil service at Wright-Patterson AFB, retiring in 1989 after over 30 years of combined federal service; and was awarded the Outstanding Engineer of the Year award in 1979. Paul was a member of Mary, Help of Christians Church in Fairborn. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jacqueline; three daughters, Stephanie (Bill) Grasso of Beavercreek, Mary Beth Lempicki of Beavercreek; Jacqueline (Steve) Worrell of Springboro; four grandchildren; Cullen, Cal, Sarah, Jacqueline; brother-in-law, Lawrence (Phyllis) Rodack; sister-in-law, Rebecca (Ken) Gehres; as well as other extended family and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held (Today) Thursday November 8, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the Mary, Help of Christians Church, 954 N. Maple Ave., Fairborn, Father Charles Lang Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until the time of mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital -or- American Heart Association. Arrangements in care of Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, Fairborn.
