James Morningstar

FAIRBORN — James T. "J.T." Morningstar, age 85, was born August 22, 1928 to Ray & Maureen Morningstar. He enjoyed flying and building R.C. airplanes, riding motorcycles and fishing at Indian Lake. He was a lifelong automobile dealer owning Sherwood Ford in St. Louis, MO and Morningstar Chrysler Plymouth Dodge in Fairborn. As a Navy Veteran, he was a member of AMVETS, the American Legion, the VFW & Elks. He was a 30-year Rotary Club Member, receiving the Paul Harris Fellowship Award. He is survived by four children: Jim (Debi) Morningstar, Jeff (Cathie) Morningstar, Joyce (Mark) Rhoades & Julie Hartley; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a sister, Jean Kerns. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Thursday, June 5, at MORRIS SONS FUNERAL HOME, 104 W. Main, Fairborn. Funeral will be 10 am Friday at the funeral home. Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lima.
