John T. Kraker (1944 - 2013)

FAIRBORN John T. Kraker, age 68, of Hartford, WI passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. John was born on October 5, 1944 to Walter and Evelyn (nee Grudowski) Kraker of Milwaukee, WI. The greater part of his employment years were in the swimming pool industry. In his free time John was an avid hunter and fisherman, having been a licensed fishing guide for many of those years. He was affiliated with the Milwaukee chapter of Muskies, Inc. John proudly served his country as a SSGT in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was stationed at Wright-Patterson AFB (OH) and Castle AFB (CA). John was preceded in death by his son, Glen; his father, Walter; and his mother, Evelyn. He is survived by his wife, Lynda Hess of Hartford, WI; his son, Alan (Dawn) Kraker of Fairborn, OH; his grandchildren, Kayleigh & Cody Kraker and Alissa Kraker of Fairborn, OH; his great-grandson Glen Kraker of Fairborn, OH; his stepchildren, Aaron Hess of Hartford, WI and Jessica (Justin) Funk of Madison, WI; and his sister Shari (Ross) Notham of Colgate, WI. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Visitation is Monday September 16 from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Funeral service will follow at 8PM at the funeral home. Interment Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
