FAIRBORN — James W. "Jim" Dearing, age 84 of Fairborn, passed away Tuesday November 19, 2013. He was born January 30, 1929 in Greenville, KY, the son of the late Texal and Ethel (Williams) Dearing. Jim served his country in the U.S. Army during Korea and followed with employment at Delco Products, retiring after 36 years of service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy DeBorde; and two brothers, Robert and Larry Dearing. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Anna; three children, Ronald (Brenda) Dearing of North Carolina, Cindy (Brian) Noble of Fairborn, Karen (Steven) DeHart of Kentucky; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and other extended family. The family will receive friends on Sunday November 24, 2013 from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on Monday November 25, 2013 at 11:00 A.M., Dr. David Rakes officiating. Burial will follow in the Byron Cemetery.
