FAYETTEVILLE - Colin Craven, 67, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013. Colin was born Jan. 30, 1946, in England, to the late George William and Mary Craven of Clarkston, Mich. Colin was an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Lynn Garapola. Colin is survived by a son, William Todd Craven and his wife, Andrea, of Fuquay-Varina; two brothers, Michael Craven of Rock Hill, S.C., and Ronnie Craven of North Carolina; a sister, Helen Blair of Ortonville, Mich; and four grandchildren, Devan Garapola of Clinton, and Alex Craven, Zach Craven and Samuel Craven, all of Fuquay-Varina. A funeral service will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Rogers and Breece Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. The family will receive friends prior to services. Interment will proceed at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake with military honors.
