FAYETTEVILLE - Miss Alyssa Joy Evans, 12, of Fayetteville, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, in Fayetteville. She was born Nov 16, 2000, at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. She is survived by her parents, Chris and Carleen Evans; two sisters, Brianne and Jessamyn; a brother, Colt; great-grandparents, Carey and Shirley Lees; grandparents, Gordan and Judy Evans and Garth and Marge Winsor; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Alyssa was a sixth-grader at John Griffin Middle School who loved to read, to draw and to sing and enjoyed hanging out with her friends. Alyssa was very involved at Arran Lake Baptist Church in AWANA, Jam and S.W.A.T. She also cheered with YCOA. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Arran Lake Baptist Church, followed at 5 p.m. by a celebration of Alyssa's life. Services entrusted to Rogers and Breece Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
