to the olo family, i worked with olo 2006 with LSI, he would be my driver when i needed to pick up parts from 82ND, i always thought olo a great man, he invited my family to a luhau at the community center on post. olo was a great person, i have never seen anyone so patient, kind and humble. i would go to olo to vent and his whole attitude and the way he spoke just calmed me down. i just found out about two weeks agao that he had passed. i was reading his obituary and i remember how he talked about his family. it hurts to know he is no longer walking around and spreading his kindness and stories, but i know for a fact he is with our heavenly father smiling down on us. as Olo would say "rejoice" family and know that your husband, father, brother and son is ok.

Faye, Dena Troop and Viki,
I am so sorry that Olo is not here with us, but I take great comfort in knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is at the right hand of Christ, a place he spent his life preparing to be. Just knowing him makes us all better people. I hope and pray that the works that he started will be continued by those whose lives were touched by him. I love you all and will continue to pray for the whole family. I ask that God will grant each of you the peace that surpasses all understanding, the peace that only Christ can grant.

Rest in peace Uncle Olo. You are truly practicing what you preached! I love you.

Faye, and kids....you know we love you guys, and are here for you should you ever need us. You know how much we loved Uncle Olo...and still do. But you know what, as sad as we are, we shouldn't be crying. He's with the Lord that he loved so very much, and he's seeing The Face we can all only dream about! You know he was there in the church with us yesterday...as he'll always be around. He will be sorely missed! I love you guys. ;) And just think, Faye.....now he doesn't have to steal my pineapples....he's probably got better ones up there! Love, love.
