WEST LEBANON - John C. Goodrick, 44, of Lafayette, formerly of West Lebanon passed away in his home at 11:06 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2012.

Born May 7, 1968 in Danville, Ill., he was the son of John D. Goodrick of West Lebanon and Kathy (Meyer) Clark of Covington.
He was a 1986 graduate of Seeger High School and graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. John was an electrician for Wabash National for 20 years. John served actively in Desert Storm with the 209th National Guard Army for 4 years.
He married Heather Owen on August 19, 2011 in Williamsport and she survives.
John enjoyed country and western music, camping, and spending time with his family. He was a fan of the University of Illinois sports, the Chicago Bears and the Miami Heat.
Surviving with his wife and parents are his children: Carrie and Erin Goodrick both of Lafayette; three step-children: Joshua Campbell, Jared Dever and Danielle Dever all of Lafayette; two brothers: Dennis (Marian) Hall of Las Vegas, Nev. and Joseph (Gayle) Goodrick of Terre Haute; two step-sisters: Tena (Rodney) Maxfield of Covington and Marsha (David) Lamb of Kingman; three grandchildren: Cory, Jaime, and Marshall; his wife's parents, Robert and Debora Owen of Lafayette and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, James Clark, a cousin, Bill Satterfield, and his maternal grandparents.
