Kenneth Cronkhite Obituary

WILLIAMSPORT - Kenneth E. "Kenny" Cronkhite, age 81 of Williamsport died at 8:50 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014 at St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital.
Kenny was born near Marshfield on Dec. 20, 1932. He was the son of Earl and Grace (McIntosh) Cronkhite. He graduated from West Lebanon High School in 1950 and later attended Purdue University. He married Kathryn L. "Kay" Clark on June 17, 1951 in Williamsport. She survives.
Kenny was a lifelong resident of Warren County working for Production Credit Association for 30 years. He also farmed with his son, David. He was a longtime member of Marshfield Presbyterian Church and later a member of West Lebanon Trinity Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the F & AM West Lebanon receiving his 50 year pin. He loved to go boating, spending time at Lake Freeman, playing cards and being with his friends. He also enjoyed bowling and playing golf.
Surviving with his wife, Kay, are: a daughter, Kathy Lynn (Tom) Murray of Lafayette; a son, David Earl (Debby) Cronkhite of Williamsport; four grandchildren, Jackie (Preston) Green, Kristina (Ryan) Fallon, Bradley (Jennifer) Murray and Mike (Leanne) Cronkhite; six great-grandsons, Henry Murray, Brooks Murray, Clark Murray, Isaac Murray, Harrison Green, and Ethan "EJ" Cronkhite
Kenny was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Cronkhite, and a sister, Mary Rose Davis.
Funeral services were held at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport, on Dec. 4 with Rev. Dr. Roger Andrew McDaniel officiating. Interment was at West Lebanon Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made at West Lebanon Trinity Presbyterian Church.

So sorry to hear about your recent loss. Remembering about 50 years ago, our folks playing cards while the four of us played Miss America. Kenny's joyous laughter as they had won a card trick and us older kids getting yelled at for something David had done. Thanks for the memories! Kenny will be missed but not forgotten.
