Gilliam, Mark S. Mark S. Gilliam, 59, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, May 1, 2016 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born in San Jose, Calif. on July 9, 1959 a son of Gerald and Wilma (Hughes) Gilliam. On July 8, 1982 he married Diane M. Vande Streek in Fond du Lac. He enjoyed hunting, motorcycling and most of all, spending time with his family. Together, Mark and Diane also coached softball in North Fond du Lac for many years. For 41 years, he worked at the same location and was one of the first 100 registered Honda motorcycle mechanics in the United States. Surviving family include his wife of 33 years, Diane; 2 daughters, Toni (Nickolas) Wellman of Monroe, Wis. and Amanda (Jesse) Krueger of Ogden, Utah; 4 grandchildren, Joah, Brynleigh, Reagan and Foster; 3 brothers, Gerald, Brian and Patrick; his wife's parents, Bernard and Doris Vande Streek; and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Micah; and his parents, Gerald and Wilma. Visitation for Mark will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac and again on Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Grace Reformed Church, 163 18th St. in Fond du Lac. A Memorial Service will be held beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Barry Vegter officiating. Cremation has taken place. Ruhland, Ruth  
Ruhland, Ruth Ruth M. Ruhland, 90 years, of Oakfield, the township of LeRoy, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Hope Senior Living in Lomira. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 5th at 1:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy, with the Rev. Father Tom Biersack celebrating the Mass. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5th from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at St. Andrew Church. Burial will take place at St. Andrew Cemetery in LeRoy. Ruth was born on July 19, 1925 to Louis and Evelyn (Ertl) Bauer in the township of LeRoy. She was united in marriage to Clarence L. Ruhland on September 1, 1945 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy. Together with her husband, they farmed in the township of LeRoy. Ruth was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy. She was also a member of St. Andrew Christian Mothers. Ruth enjoyed gardening, especially growing her flowers. She was also an avid quilter. Ruth is survived by: her children Diane Ruhland of Wautoma, Norm (Marty) Ruhland of St. Peter, and Lois (Todd) Zangl of Waukesha; her brothers Roger Bauer of Kewaskum and Donald (Anne) Bauer of Mayville; her grandchildren Nick (Elizabeth) Ruhland, Ryan Ruhland, and Brian Zangl; her great granddaughter Natalie; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2007, her sister Lyra Straub, and her brothers Felix Bauer and Edgar Bauer. Memorials may be directed to Hope Senior Living in Lomira. The family would like to give a special thanks to Hope Senior Living in Lomira for the wonderful care they gave to Ruth.

Sullivan, Mary J. (nee Lamb) Mary J. Sullivan (nee Lamb), age 75, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 29, 2016. She was born on August 15, 1940 in Fond du Lac, WI to Myron and Lilly (nee Balthazor) Lamb. Mary is survived by her loving husband Frank; children Michael, Barry (Joyce), Daniel (Lisa); grandchildren Jamie (Andy) Rebholz, Amber Sisk, Miranda, Brooke, Hailey; great-grandson Aiden and her sister Myrna Reiland. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Ruth Birkhauser. A Memorial Service will be on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 12:00PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend) with Father Richard Stoffel presiding. White, Mary  
White, Mary Mary A. White, 64, of Waupun, passed away unexpectedly on April 29, 2016 at her home. Mary was born September 22, 1951 to Orien and Myrtle (Lidtke) White. Mary attended and graduated from Waupun High School. She continued her education at cosmetology school in Oshkosh for one year and worked a short time at Sue's Beauty Salon. Mary later became a seamstress where she found her passion. She was a member of Union-Congregational Church, the Women's Legion Auxiliary Club, and the Homemaker's Association. She also attended several craft classes. Mary helped out at several blood drives. Mary is survived by a niece and a nephew: Melissa (Craig) Hull of Waupun, and Todd Dahl of Waupun; a grand-nephew, Owen Hull; two grand-nieces: Emma Hull and Ayanna Dahl; and a brother-in-law, Tim Dahl. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Madeline Dahl. A memorial service in Mary's honor will be held Thursday May 5th, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Union-Congregational Church in Waupun with Rev. Jack Kraaz officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in the town of Trenton. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun and on Thursday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burdick, James "J.B."  
Burdick, James "J.B." James "J.B." L. Burdick, age 69, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at his home. J.B. was born June 29, 1946, in Fond du Lac, WI, the son of Shadrach "Ted" and Adeline (Stellmacher) Burdick. He graduated from Ripon High School in 1964 and went on to further his education at Oshkosh Technical Institute, graduating in 1966. J.B. joined the Navy in 1966 and served four years, which included two cruises on the USS Kitty Hawk during the Vietnam War. Two weeks after getting out of the Navy in 1970, J.B. started working at Wells Manufacturing as a draftsman. He worked at Wells for 38 years, retiring as an engineer on July 1, 2008. J.B. was an avid fisherman and hunter. Survivors include his brother, William "Bill" (Barbara) Burdick of Ripon, WI; nephews, Brent (Lisa) Burdick and Brad (Becky) Burdick; nieces, Beth (Todd) Shinkunas and Brenda (Shamus) Busha; great-nieces and nephews, Grace and Cole Burdick, Abigail, Madelyn and Emerson Busha and Kade and Karsen Burdick. Loecher, DuWayne  
Loecher, DuWayne DuWayne Loecher, 55, of Waupun, returned to his heavenly home on Friday, April 29,2016, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, with family by his side. DuWayne was born on October 19th, 1960 the son of Ambrose and Juliana (Wettstein) Loecher. He attended High School in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. While in nursing school he met the love of his life, Annette (Harmsen) Loecher. On October 24th, 1980 DuWayne and Annette were united in love at Bethel Reformed Church in Brandon, WI. DuWayne was known as the "Miracle Man" after his cardiac arrest in June of 2008, in which his heart stopped beating for 27 minutes. He became an ordained minister after his near death experience and enjoyed sharing his story with many people that were suffering. DuWayne was a kind, dedicated, and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He had a passion for helping others, going for walks with his black lab, Cole, enjoyed holiday decorating and loved to spend time with his family and his two beautiful granddaughters. DuWayne is survived by his wife of 35 years, Annette; three children: Anthony (Carrie) Loecher of Columbus, Alicia (Ronald Jr.) Mueller of West Bend, and Christa Loecher of Fond du Lac; and his two granddaughters: Lilylyn Maurene Loecher "Lovey" and Aveya Lynae Mueller "Pookie". He was preceded in death by his mother, Juliana (Wettstein) Loecher; and his brother, Donald Loecher. Funeral services for DuWayne Loecher will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2016 10 a.m. at Bethel Reformed Church in Brandon with Rev. John Tilstra officiating. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun and on Wednesday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. DuWayne was loved and cherished by many. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Rens, Roberta  
Rens, Roberta Roberta P. Rens, 80, of Waupun, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016. Roberta was born December 25, 1935 in Waupun, WI the daughter of Willis and Verna Draeger Pluim. Roberta attended Waupun schools and graduated from Waupun High School in 1953. On June 12, 1953 she married Dick Rens in Waupun. Following their marriage the couple resided in Platteville, WI, the Lowell-Reeseville, WI area, Kimberly, WI, and Somonauk, IL. In 1967 they returned to Waupun. Roberta was employed at Beilke Apparel in Waupun for 12 years, and then purchased the business in 1976 and renamed it Roberta's Fashion Gallery. In January of 1994 she retired from the apparel business and became an independent sales consultant with Longaberger Basket Co. of Dresden, OH for whom she worked for over 10 years. After their retirement, they spent winters at their home in Sun City West, AZ where Roberta was very active in the Silvercraft Club and the Lapidary Club, crafting jewelry for herself and family and friends. Roberta was a member of Union-Congregational Church in Waupun where she served on several committees and held various offices. She was also a member of the Desert Garden U.C.C. in Sun City West, AZ. She was very active in the Waupun community, was on the Board of Directors for the Waupun Area Chamber of Commerce, and was a chairperson for the Downtown Business Association. Roberta is survived by her husband, Dick Rens of Waupun; three daughters: Jacqueline (John) Hart of Mesquite, NV, Amy (Greg) Urban of Waukesha, WI, and Dr. Lori Allen of Union Grove, WI; four grandchildren: Jason Hart, Stacie (Josef) Leutner, Jeffrey Allen, and Kendall Urban; a great-granddaughter, Payton Leutner; a great-grandson Caden Leutner; a brother, Dennis (Betty) Pluim of Fond du Lac, WI; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and step-father, Arnold Maas. Memorial services for Roberta P. Rens will be held Monday, May 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Union-Congregational Church in Waupun. Hau, Virginia M. Virginia (Ginny) M. Hau, of New Holstein, passed away quietly on Sunday, January 24, 2016, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg, WI after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Ginny was born on October 10, 1931, in St. Peter, WI to the late Arthur and Mathilda Krebsbach. She married the late William (Bill) Hau on October 19, 1957, at St. Peter Catholic Church and settled in Cleveland, WI. They later moved to a farm in the Town of New Holstein in 1964 where they raised their family. Both Ginny and Bill were a long time members of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein. Ginny worked for many years as a waitress at Roepke's Village Inn in Charlesburg, WI and was an avid gardener selling fresh produce within the community. Ginny is survived by her five children: Ronald (Denise) Hau of Cedar Rapids, IA, August (Karen) Hau of Hartford, WI, Sharon (Mark) Hughes of Verona, WI, Edward (Nicole) Hau of Oakton, VA, and Marvin (Ann Marie) Hau of Carmel, IN; ten grandchildren: Timothy (Katie), Samantha, Dustin, Joshua, Rachel, Regan, Oliver, Josephine, Eric, and Isaac; two step grandchildren: Jennifer (Mike) Olson and Julie (Matt) Vilven; and four step great-grandchildren: Hudson, Britta, Lilly Mae, and Morgan. She is further survived by her sister Lorraine (Martin) Birschbach of St. Peter and their six children Jeannette, Elaine, Audrey, Myron, Joyce, Eric and their families; in-laws, Peter (Lois) Hau of Stockbridge, WI, Barbara (Gordon) Birschbach of Milwaukee, WI, Michael (Patricia) Hau of Germantown, WI, Sr. Mary Hau of Milwaukee, John (Darlene) Hau of Brothertown, WI, Karen (Robert) Urfer of Pamona, CA, and Doris Hau Plautz of New Holstein. Preceding Ginny in death was her husband Bill, her parents Arthur and Mathilda Krebsbach, and Bill's parents Albert and Marjorie Hau. A Memorial Mass is planned for Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1724 Madison Street, New Holstein, WI followed by a private burial. Following mass and burial, family, friends, neighbors and those who cherished the lives of Ginny and Bill Hau are invited to join the family for a "celebration of life" luncheon at The Altona Supper Club, 2306 Calumet Drive, New Holstein, WI starting at 12:00 pm. Luncheon guests are asked to RSVP edward.m.hau@gmail.com or call/text (703) 622-6269. The family requests no floral arrangements.
