Miller, Florence L.

Florence L. Miller, 88, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, June 7, 2013, at Hospice Home of Hope.

She was born on December 24, 1924, in Milwaukee, a daughter of Vincent and Marie Molter Hettenhaus.

Florence married Gerald E. Miller on June 11, 1966, at Division Street Methodist Church.

She worked at Hill's and Evelyn's Beauty Shops and volunteered for the Red Cross Blood Bank and at St. Agnes in their gift shop.

She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Mike) Guell of Fond du Lac, and Kathy Rommel of Port Orange, FL; four grandchildren: Lisa (Ed) Dwyer of Oshkosh, Sara (Jim) Heimler of Germantown, Eric Stanke of Green Bay, and Danielle Buell of CA; four great-grandchildren: Talan, Ella, Ava, and Reid; a sister-in-law, Alice Braatz of Eden; and three brothers-in-law: Carl (Edie) Miller of Alaska, Ray Miller of Fond du Lac, and Kenneth Miller of Fond du Lac.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald, on April 25, 1991; and two brothers: Anthony (Martha) Hettenhaus and Edward Braatz.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Covenant United Methodist Church, 20 N. Marr Street, Fond du Lac, with Rev. Michael Morning officiating. The visitation will be on Wednesday at church from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Entombment will be in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
