Heather L. Muellenbach

Heather L. Muellenbach, age 62, formerly of New Holstein, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Century Oaks Assisted Living, Oshkosh.

She was the former Heather Quandt born September 3, 1950, daughter of the late Howard & Mavis (Goebel) Quandt.

Heather was a 1968 graduate of Kiel High School.

On June 29, 1974 she married Richard E. Muellenbach at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein.

He preceded her in death on October 30, 2009.

She had previously been employed at Tecumseh Products, New Holstein and was a CNA at Willowdale Nursing & Rehab Center, New Holstein.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein.

Heather enjoyed playing a good game of sheepshead with family & friends, playing bingo, decorating cakes and collecting porcelain dolls.

Survivors include four children: Tim Muellenbach, Oshkosh, Craig (Jennifer) Muellenbach, Oshkosh, Sarah Muellenbach, Madison, Daniel Muellenbach (fiance, Rhonda Steiner), Oshkosh and grandchildren; Grace, Tyler & Dylan. She is further survived by two brothers; David (Gail) Quandt, Pulaski, Michael (Linda) Quandt, Oak Creek, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Richard.

The funeral Mass for Heather will be celebrated at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein with Rev. Harold Berryman officiating.

Burial will take place in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, New Holstein.

Family and friends may call at the Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 6th St. Kiel on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm and at the church on Tuesday from 9:30am until the time of Mass.

Heather's family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Century Oaks Assisted Living, Oshkosh for the wonderful care she received.
