Usher, John

John Usher of Fernley, Nev., died suddenly at home on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013. He was born on Oct. 26, 1938, in South Dakota. He was retired from the U. S. Navy. He married Colleen Marcoe on Dec, 6, 1982 and recently celebrated their 30th anniversary.

He is survived by his loving wife, Colleen Usher; one stepdaughter, Amy (Shane) Hawes; 2 sisters, Vendale (Oscar) Migl, Texas and Dorothy Steffgen, California; one brother, Larry Usher; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Geraldine Golden, California; Karen Pahnke, Green Bay; Jean (Dan) Sylvester, Eldorado; Darlene Greene, Brownsville.

Waltons Funeral Home, Reno, Nevada is serving the family
