Leona M. Tillman 86, of Wild Rose, WI (Formerly of Fredonia, WI) passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday March 8, 2013, at the Rosemore Village in Wild Rose, WI. She was born in Ladysmith, WI, on July 7, 1926, the daughter of Alfred and Blanche (Kennicott) Dolph. She married Neil Tillman on September 22, 1952, in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death on February 21, 1983.

Leona is survived by her children, Sandra (Robert) Heimerl of Brantwood; John (Susan) Tillman of North Fond du Lac; Nancy (Don) Ross of Pembine; and Linda (Stephen) Loper Wolff of Oshkosh; five grandchildren, Corey (Julie) Hauck, Lesa (Jeff) Bednarek, Matthew Tillman, Kevin (Laura) Tillman, and Richelle Ross; and three great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Gavin Bednarek, and Lyla Grace Hauck. She is further survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Neil she was preceded in death by her long time companion, Donald Draves; her parents; a brother, George; and a sister, Dorothy Wood.

Leona and Neil had owned and operated Red and Lee's Tap in Fredonia, WI, for about ten years. She then went to work as a machine operator for Tecumseh, Inc. in Grafton, WI, for a number of years.

A visitation will be held at the Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose, WI, on Sunday, March 10, 2013, from 3 until 6 p.m. Interment will be in the St. Rose Cemetery in Fredonia, WI, on Monday March 11, 2013. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Rosemore Village or to Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital in memory of Leona M. Tillman.
