Leslie F. 'Fritz' Feller, age 84, of Mayville, passed away on Saturday, March 1st, 2014, at Matthews of Horicon.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th at 4:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church in Kekoskee with the Rev. Dennis Bratz officiating. A visitation will take place on Thursday, March 6th at the church in Kekoskee from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m Burial will take place at Kekoskee Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Mayville American Legion Post #69.
Leslie was born on September 6, 1929, to Ernst and Edna (Breitkreutz) Feller in Mayville. He was united in marriage to Arlene Kummerow on June 17, 1950, at St. Peter's in Kekoskee. He was a member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church in Kekoskee. Leslie was also a U.S. Army
Veteran who served in Korea. He was employed as an over the road truck driver with Crescent Trucking in Mayville and also with other companies over the years. In his spare time, Leslie loved to tinker and was known fondly as 'Mr. Fix It'. He also was an avid dartball player for over 40 years.
Leslie is survived by his children, James (Jill) Feller of Kekoskee; Diane Sippel of Fond du Lac; and Rachel (Gibby) Loberg of New Berlin; his brother and sister in law, Alex (LaVonne) Kummerow of Kekoskee; his 7 granchildren, Matthew (Kari) Feller, Lucas Feller, Nathan (Betsy) Sippel, Kelly Sippel, Ashley Loberg, Danielle Loberg, and Faith Loberg; 1 great grandson, Carter. He was further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and sister, Ervin Feller, Elda Ewert, Merlin Feller, Alvin Feller, and Victor Feller; his son-in-law, Donald; and 1 infant son.
