Schmitz, Ronald R.

Ronald R. Schmitz, 59, died Monday, September 18, 2017 at his home in Fond du Lac. He was born in Fond du Lac on November 8, 1957 to Raymond and Christine (Barber) Schmitz.

Ronald loved helping others. He especially loved his dog, Onyx. He was currently attending Community Church in Fond du Lac.

Survivors include his daughter, Kristi Schmitz of Oakfield; 2 granddaughters, Alysiana and Mayana King, both of Oakfield; 2 brothers, Robert of North Fond du Lac and Richard of Seattle, Wash.; 1 sister, Bonnie (Travis Stibb) Odette of Fond du Lac; 1 nephew, Cory; and 5 nieces, Sarah, Misty (Jeff), Tabatha (Clete), Jodi, and Jaime (Scott). He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Daniel; a brother-in-law, William Odette; a sister-in-law, Jill Schmitz; and his grandparents.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Community Church, N6717 Streblow Dr. in Fond du Lac with Pastor Adam Utecht officiating. Cremation has taken place.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
