Barbara Ann Schultz, age 78, of Sheboygan passed away Wednesday July 31, 2013 surrounded by her children. Barbara was born January 6, 1935 in Fond du Lac to the late Edward and Esther (Scherer) Malson. Barbara was united in marriage to Donald E. Schultz on April 28, 1956; he preceded her in death on July 12, 1997. Barbara was a graduate of Berlin High School. She was employed at the Hoffbrau Restaurant prior to working at Suscha's News. Barbara was an avid bird watching enthusiast, loved all animals and enjoyed gardening, flowers and polka dancing with her friends.
Barbara is survived by her children Diane (Steve) Hoffmann of Cedar Grove, Karen Feldmann Schultz of Spring Lake, David E. Schultz of Sheboygan; grandchildren Sheila, Renee, Ciara Hoffmann, Jeremy Garbisch, Jamie Feldmann and Joseph (Nicole) Feldmann; step brother-in-law William "Billy" (Jane) Briggs of Wautoma; two sisters-in-law Jeannine Malson of Fond du Lac and Agnes "Aggie" Malson of Fond du Lac; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Jeffrey Feldmann Jr., brothers Walter and Clarence Malson and two step fathers Frank Frazer and George Ehrenberg.
Family and friends may call at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan on Monday, August 5, 2013 from 4-7 P.M. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1444 S. 11th Street, Sheboygan from 10 A.M. until the time of mass. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 11 A. M. at the church with the Rev. Paul Fliss officiating. Entombment to follow at the Holy Cross Mausoleum.
A memorial fund has been established in Barbara's name.
