Cecelia M. Engmann, 96 years of Lomira, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lomira.
Funeral Services for Cecelia will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012, at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, 113 E. Bonduel St., Theresa, with the Rev. Jonathan A. Learman and Rev. Matthew D. Kuske officiating. Visitation will also be held on Friday, November 16, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Theresa, Wisconsin.
Cecelia was born on November 22, 1915, the daughter of Earl and Katherine (Greiten) Steiner in Cambridge, Wisconsin. On May 23, 1936, she was united in marriage to William R. Engmann in Rockford, IL.
Cecelia and her husband, William farmed together in the town of Theresa. She had also been employed at Purity Cheese in Mayville. She was a faithful member of St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church in Theresa. Cecelia enjoyed playing cards and bingo.
Cecelia is survived by her children, Don (Elaine) Engmann of Lomira; Jerry (Betty) Engmann of Mayville; and Joyce (Gib) Jaeger of Neshkoro; seven grandchildren, Steve (Kim) Engmann, Scott (Carol) Engmann, Randy Engmann, Julie (Dan) Day, Jeff Engmann, Ricky (Paula) Jaeger and Connie (Jason) Vandermolen; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Gloria Steiner of Oshkosh; and Lorraine Krieser of Fort Atkinson. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William in 1991; her son, Robert "Bob" in 2005; five brothers, Fran, Lawrence, Andrew, Louis, and Norbert; and her sister, Dorothy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church in Theresa, Hope Health and Rehabilitation Van Fund or to Hope Health and Rehabilitation Activity Fund.
