Charlotte Bunker, age 91, passed away at The Woodlands on April 23, 2013. Charlotte was born October 15, 1921, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Henry and Katherine (Fiebig) Kimmel. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
On September 16, 1939, she married Gerald Bunker. She was employed for The Berger Company at Elliott's and Berger's for over 40 years.
She is survived by one son John (Patty) Bunker; 2 daughters, Michele (Joe) Klinzing and Mary (Tom) Goebel; a daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Bunker; 11 grandchildren, Cheryl (Greg), Richard C., Rob (Meggan),Gerald A., Cary, Jay, Stacey (Neil), Joe (Brenda), Corey (Sarah), Troy (Amy), and Travis; 9 great-grandchildren, Dyllan, Maddie, Nicholas, Alex, Ritchie, Aly, Joseph, Wyatt and Piper.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; a son, Richard A; 2 brothers, Peter and Henry; 5 sisters, Anne, Elizabeth, Betty, Mary and Katherine; and a great-granddaughter, Annika.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2013, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Reverend Michael Zuberbier officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services.
The family would like to thank Dr. Juan Vasquez and his nurses, Geri and Jean; Sue Milligan and the entire staff at The Woodlands; Hospice Hope and the volunteers for all of their care and compassion. You all went above and beyond.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Agnesian Healthcare Hospice Hope, 239 Trowbridge Drive, Fond du Lac.
