Gordon R. Kolterman, age 91, of Brownsville passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at his home.
A Memorial Service for Gordon will take place on Sunday, April 27th, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at the Oakfield United Methodist Church in Oakfield with the Rev. Jim Droste officiating. A visitation will take place on Sunday, April 27th from 2 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:30 p.m. at the church. Inurnment will take place at the Avoca Cemetery in Oakfield.
Gordon was born on September 22nd, 1922 in Brownsville to Alvin and Frances (Hasenzahl) Kolterman in Brownsville. He was a Waupun High School graduate. He was united in marriage to Marjorie Curran on November 4th, 1944 at the Oakfield Methodist Church. He was the camp manager at Camp Byron for 24 years. He was a member of the Oakfield Methodist Church and also the Lion's Club.
Gordon is survived by sons, Gerald Raymond (Mary Karls) Kolterman of Brownsville; and Edward Clarence (Donna) Kolterman of Brownsville; his siblings, Flora Belle Kolterman, Thomas Kolterman, and Kathleen (Stanley) Bird; his 4 grandchildren, Brian Kolterman, Jennifer (Mike) Robinson, Justin (Brooke) Kolterman, and Ashley (Tom) Wondra; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Lily, Roslyn, and 1 great-grandchild on the way. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marjorie and a daughter, Mary Kay.
