Bath, James W.

James "Jake" W. Bath, 94, of Fond du Lac, and formerly of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Woodlands Senior Park in Fond du Lac.

Funeral Services for Jake will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam with the Rev. Philip Heyer and Rev. Brett Naumann officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Road, Beaver Dam and on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, 300 West St., Beaver Dam. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam, with graveside military honors by the Beaver Dam American Legion Post #146.

James William was born on August 21, 1918 the son of Paul and Carolyn (Hefter) Bath in Mayville. He was married to Delores L. Haase on November 25, 1939 at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.

Jake was a graduate of Mayville High School. He served his country in the United States Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a member of the John E. Miller American Legion Post # 146 and the Clarence Keske V.F.W. Post # 1163, both of Beaver Dam. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac and a former member of St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. He was also a member of the Beaver Dam Volunteer Fire Department for 18 years, retiring as lieutenant. Jake had been employed as an industrial electrician in the maintenance department at Monarch Range Company in Beaver Dam for 38 years.

Jake is survived by his children, Thomas (Catherine) Bath of Norristown, PA; Charles (Janeen) Bath of Horicon, and Peggy (Michael) Csiacsek of Fond du Lac; four grandchildren, Allison (Steve) Buchholz of Monona, Jahje Bath-Ives(Joe) of Philadelphia, PA, Andrea (Matt) Wieneke of Horicon and Aleema Bath (fiance James William Michal) of Santa Monica, CA; nine great-grandchildren, Adelyne Rae, Elynora Mae, Aubryana Fae, Iviayn Kae, Forrest Otto, Nolan Robert, Charlee Frances, Gavril Raheem and Elodie Noor; brother Lawrence (Myrtle) Bath of Mayville; sister Margie (Bias) O'Brien of Mayville; sisters-in-law, Jeanne (special friend Dick Parker) Schulz of Beaver Dam and JoAnn Haase of Beaver Dam. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 68 years, Dede, in 2008, four brothers, Herman, Eugene, Aloysius and Anthony; four sisters, Leola, Pauline, Veronica and Virginia and his grandson Raheem Bath.
