James Joseph Tennessen, 46, a resident of Fond du Lac, passed away May 31, 2012 at St. Agnes Hospital, following a brief illness.
He was born August 5, 1965 in Milwaukee, a son of Alvin J. and Charlotte A. Jahn Tennessen.
Jim was a graduate of St. Mary's Springs High School. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley. Jim was a member of the Millwright Union, Fond du Lac.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Al (Donna) Tennessen of Fond du Lac; a son, Spencer Tennessen; stationed in Kuwait with the U.S. Military, a daughter Mollie Tennessen of Fond du Lac; two brothers, Jerry (Mona) Tennessen and John (Mary) Tennessen; a sister Pat (Dick) Beyer, all of Fond du Lac; nieces and nephews, Derek (Mary) Tennessen and their children, Max and Mya, Sam Tennessen, Joshua Tennessen, Nick (Erica) Tennessen, and Ryan Tennessen, Willie and Greta Beyer, Adam Beyer, Michael Beyer and Monica Beyer, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte, on September 3, 2001.
SERVICES: Private family services will be held on Tuesday June 5, 2012, at the Zacherl Funeral Home.
VISITATION: The family will receive relatives and friends following services from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Zacherl Funeral Home.
Cremation has taken place and inurnment of cremains will be at the Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Fond du Lac.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in his name will be established and may be directed to the family.
