1939 - 2012 Obituary Condolences
Loraine "Lori" Brown Obituary
Brown, "Lori" Loraine

Lori (Loraine Buckett) Brown, age 72 formerly of Eldorado, joined the love of her life, her husband Bill, on September 8, 2012. She was born October 6, 1939, in Waterford, WI. to Francis and Leona (Haig) Buckett. Bill and Lori were married on June 3, 1959, and shared 51 years of marriage. They lived many places throughout Wisconsin and raised three daughters and a son. In their retirement years, they enjoyed traveling through the southern U.S. together. Lori retired from Giddings and Lewis in 1998. She was a member of Terrace Shores Evangelical Free Church. She was known best for her strength and enduring spirit. She had a generous heart and opened her home to many in need throughout her life. Though later years found her in poor health, and were often difficult, she approached them as she approached everything else in life with strength and courage. In her final days, she was at peace and ready to see Bill and take her place with God in heaven

Lori is survived by her children, Jodi (Willie) Norgaarden, of Rosemount, MN, Shelley Brown-Giebel (Tom), of Eldorado, WI, Bill Brown of Appleton, Robin (Matt) Schroeder, of Fond du Lac; granddaughters Katelyn, Crina, Rylee, Alivia, and Mersaydee, sister Catherine Greeley, brother John Buckett, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bill, an infant son, her parents and sister-in-law.

A celebration of life will be held at Terrace Shores Church (W3278 County Road K, Markesan) in Green Lake on Saturday, September 15, 2012, at 11:30 A.M. with Pastor Gary Zacharias officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service. Lori will be laid to rest in Evangelical Lutheran St. John's Church Cemetery, Princeton.

The family is grateful to the staff at the Lutheran Home in Fond du Lac, Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh, the DaVita staff in Fond du Lac, Dr. Lake, Dr. Devermann and Amy Jo for their care and devotion to their mother.
