Francis, Lucille M.

Lucille M. Francis, 99, formerly of 585 Thomas Street, and currently a resident of St. Francis Home, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born December 2, 1915, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of George and Josephine Londre Weston. She was a 1933 graduate of Fond du Lac High School. On October 4, 1939, she married Warren T. "Yutch" Francis at St. Joseph's Church by the Rev. H.G. Riordan. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1998. Lucille was a lifelong member of Holy Family Parish, a former member of St. Joseph's Church, and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella for 25 years. She was also employed by T.E. Ahren Clothing, St. Agnes Hospital, and Jack's Team Sports.

Surviving is a son, John "Jack" Francis of Fond du Lac, two grandchildren, Christine (Tom) Lapine and Julie (Shawn) Grossman, both of Fond du Lac, a great-granddaughter, Alli Grossman, a niece, Carol Miritz of North Fond du Lac, and a son-in-law, Bob Lang of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by dear cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Tom Francis, a daughter, Mary Lang, and a brother, Rodney Weston.

Visitation for Lucille M. Francis will be on Thursday, October 8, 2015, from 9 to 11 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 678 Western Avenue, Fond du Lac. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Thursday at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in Lucille's name.
