Therese A. "Tess" Heldt, 85, of Campbellsport, went to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.

Tess was born May 28, 1926, the daughter of Frank and Rose Braun Becker.
She married Thomas Heldt on Sept. 27, 1948, and lived her entire life in the Campbellsport area.
Tess spent her years styling hair, managing the family's variety store and was employed at St. Joseph Convent. She volunteered at Meals on Wheels for many years. She enjoyed the summers at the cottage, was a lifelong member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church where she enjoyed singing in the church choir and was a longtime member of the Camp-Vill Homemakers Group. Her family was her life.
Tess is survived by her loving husband Tom, her three daughters Donna (Don) Streiff of Neillsville, Lois (Pat) Stapleton of Two Rivers and Heidi (David) Janous of Port Washington, her six grandchildren, Jenny (Andy) Pekarske, Andrea (Ben) Buss, Sean and Ryan Stapleton and Nick and Allie Janous, and her sister, Betty Stuart of Campbellsport.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her half sister Margaret Wenzlaff.
VISITATION: Visitation will be today, Sunday, April 22nd, at St. Matthew's Church, Campbellsport, from 3:00 p.m.until time of Mass.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today, Sunday April 22nd at 6:00 p.m. at St. Matthew's Church in Campbellsport. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will serve as celebrant.
Cremation will follow with inurnment at St. Matthew's Cemetery at a later date.
