Genevieve Evelyn Seefeld, 91, formerly of N5689 Seefeld Road died peacefully Tuesday Feb. 18, 2014 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, she joined her husband Warren in heaven. She was born on May 25, 1922 in Johnsburg, the daughter of the late Michael B. and Frances C, Kiersten Schmitz. Growing up on the family farm she learned a strong German work ethnic at a young age. Later, they owned and operated Seefeld Sales and Service (a farm implement equipment business) where she did the bookkeeping.

Gen was always known for her generous spirit and kind heart. She was a great listener with a ready word of comfort and wisdom. Family and faith were her priorities in life. She was always available to her family when needed. She taught us to do likewise. She loved spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially at Christmas which was her favorite holiday.

Gen was an active member of St. Louis Parish. She belonged to the St. Anne Mission Society and the Grief Ministry. Other volunteering included the Loaves and Fishes Program and the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, years before she became a resident. Currently, she was a member of the Holy Family Parish.
