Mary T. Hoffmann, age 71, of LeRoy, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at St. Agnes Hospital with her loving family at her side.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, April 28, at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in LeRoy with Rev. Fr. Tom Biersack presiding. Burial will take place at St. Andrew Cemetery. A visitation will take place on Sunday, April 27, from 4-7 p.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church in LeRoy and again on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 10 a.m. at the church.

Mary was born February 7, 1943, to Gilbert and Marie (Noll) Wild in Williamstown, where she grew up and attended school. Mary was a 1961 Mayville High School graduate. She was united in marriage to Eugene Hoffmann on November 9, 1963, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mayville. They then moved to LeRoy and raised two sons. Mary was a devoted mother, Cub Scout leader, and a religious leader. Mary was a devoted Catholic. She was a member of St. Andrew Parish in LeRoy, where she was an organist for 15 years and a reader. Mary and her husband Gene recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their family and friends.

Mary is survived by her husband Eugene of LeRoy; her sons, Bill (Ann) Hoffmann of Waupun; and Tim (Melissa) Hoffmann of Waupun; 3 grandchildren, Brandon, Morgan, and Connor; her sisters and brothers, Frances Wild of Kekoskee; Arlene Griep of Fond du Lac; Delores (Jerry) Barker of Kekoskee; Richard Wild of Horicon; and Ronald Wild of Kekoskee; and brother-in-law, Kenneth (Anne) Hoffmann of Fredericks, MD; and Barbara Wild of Kekoskee. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Scott; grandson, Brett; mother-in-law, Lorene Palm Hoffmann; brother, Jerry Wild; sister-in-law, Lanore Wild; sister-in-law Kathy Wild; and brother-in-law, LaVern Griep.
