Lorraine E. Diederich

Lorraine E. Diederich of Haines City, FL & Kiel (Cedar Lake), joined the Lord on Sunday morning, June 22, 2014.

She was born on November 23, 1933 in Sheboygan, daughter of the late Al & Rose (Schwoerer) Wagner.

Lorraine attended St. Fidelis Catholic School, Spring Valley and was the Salutatorian of her graduating class of 1952 at Kiel High School.

On June 27, 1953 she married Wilfred "Willie" Diederich at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Spring Valley.

Lorraine was employed at Vollrath Company prior to becoming a Real Estate agent with Matthias-Wagner Realty. After retirement, Lorraine and Willie wintered in Florida and developed many long lasting friendships, especially while living at Lake Henry Estates.

She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Parish in Haines City, FL.

Lorraine loved her family and treasured the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandson. She hosted many gatherings for her family and friends at their home on Cedar Lake in Kiel where she enjoyed water skiing, boating and fishing. She always enjoyed spending time with her friends, playing cards, golfing, dancing, snowmobiling and reading.

She was a member of the Christian Womens Society at both St. Dominic Catholic Church, Sheboygan and SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. Lorraine also served as a scout leader and was a member of Catholic Knights.

Survivors include her daughter, Judith (Thomas) Badura, Sheboygan, her grandchildren: David (Shannon) Badura, Green Bay, Tamara Badura, Milwaukee and great grandson, Arlo Badura. She is further survived by her brother, Kenneth Wagner, sister, Rosemary Holfeltz, brother & sister-in-law, Donald and Dorothy Diederich and sister-in-law, Eileen Mischock, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She has joined her husband Willie, a son, Gary, a daughter, Shirley, her parents, Al & Rose Wagner as well as a sister, Alice (LaRon) Mischock, sister-in-law, Dolores (Melvin) Hoerl, sister-in-law, Marie Wagner, brother-in-law, Edsel Holfeltz and mother and father-in-law, Math & Martina Diederich.

The funeral Mass for Lorraine will be celebrated at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. 413 Fremont St., Kiel with Fr. Patrick Nelson officiating and Parish Director, Joe Zenk assisting.

Entombment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Sheboygan.

Family and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 4:00 pm until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her name.

Lorraine loved her family above all else, she was caring, generous and hardworking. She touched the lives of many and made a lasting impression on all those who knew her.
