Virginia Sattler Obituary
Virginia was born on June 24, 1949, in Hudson South Dakota, a daughter of Stanley and Nona (Shogren) Marshall.
On Nov. 14, 1971, Ginny was married to Oran Sattler in Brookings South Dakota.
She received her Masters in Education from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh, and was employed with Fox Valley Technical College as an Associate Dean in the Business Division.
Ginny was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Malone; and a member of the Neenah Rotary Club.
Ginny devoted life to improving the education of many.
She is survived by her husband, Oran; two sons, Clayton of Malone and Duncan of Chicago; her mother, Nona Marshall; one brother, Michael Marshall; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death are her father; and one brother, Charles Marshall.
VISITATION: Her family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, from 4 a.m. until 7:30 p.m., at the Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division St., Fond du Lac. There is also visitation on Thursday, April 12, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m., at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, N10362 Saint Paul Road, Malone.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., in St. Paul's United Church of Christ Church on Thursday, April 12.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery. A luncheon at the church will follow.
Memorial in her name may be directed to the Seeds of Hope, c/o Deb Woodworth, Fox Valley Technical College, 1825 N. Bluemound Drive, PO Box 2277, Appleton, WI 54912-2277.

Ginny always looked for ways to help other be successful. She even recommended me for an adjunct position at NWTC. When I interviewed it was evident that her good word was well respected. My deepest sympathy to her family.

When I was a student at Moraine Park, I worked with Ginny under the Work Study Program. At the time I was facing many personal obstacles in my life. Ginny helped me in so many ways and continued to help me even yrs later. She was such an inspiration.
I will forever be grateful for knowing her and for all she did for me. Ginny was truly an angel on earth, and now surely an angel in heaven.
