Tabotabo, Sonja Rose

Sonja Rose "Sparkle" Tabotabo, 64, of Appleton, formerly of Matawan NJ, went to be with her Savior on Monday, December 31, 2012. Sonja was born in Harts WV, a daughter of John and Corky (Towles) Embrescia, on January 10, 1948.

On April 15, 1972 she married Armando Tabotabo in Cleveland, OH.

Sonja retired from Bayshore Hospital in Holmdel NJ as an X-ray Technician. In 1989 she opened the Bayshore Mammography Center where she was the main supervisor and technician.

She loved to care for people and animals in need and her main mission in life and in death was to share the love of Christ with all of God's creation. Sonja loved all her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking and appreciated the Native American Culture.

Sonja is survived by three children, Jeana (Troy) Riehl of Fond du Lac, Rene (Kelly) Tabotabo of Topanga CA and Derek Tabotabo of Appleton; seven grandchildren, Ty, Andrew, Makita, Gracie, James and Moses Riehl all of Fond du Lac, and Rain Tabotabo of Topanga CA; one sister, Kim (Steve) Light of Harts WV; one brother, Toby Embrescia of Harts WV; two nieces, Erika (Steve) Eubanks of Harts WV and Sarah Light of Harts WV; two nephews, John Embrescia of Beckley WV and Michael Embrescia of Fort Bragg NC; beloved aunts, uncles and cousins; many friends and her dog Snoop.

Preceding her in death are her parents.

Visitation: Her family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 10:00 AM until 12 Noon at Toney Christian Fellowship Church in Toney WV.

Services: At 12 noon at Toney Christian Fellowship Church a Service of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Pastor Donnie Wells officiating. Burial will follow at the family cemetery in Harts WV.

Memorials are preferred for an educational fund for the grandchildren.
