Vollendorf, Marjorie A.

Marjorie A. Vollendorf, age 89, of 708 South 35th Street, died Tuesday morning, April 23, 2013 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.

She was born on April 6, 1924 in Cato, daughter of the late Jacob and Cecelia (Kohlbeck) Vogel. On September 13, 1942 she married Sylvester Siehr at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Whitelaw, WI. Sylvester was killed in World War II in April 1945.She later married Paul L. Vollendorf on July 23, 1949 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on July 17, 2012. Marjorie was employed at Midget Café, Copps Department Store, Roorbach's Greenhouse and also Meadow Lanes West. She was a member of the following organizations: St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 88, V.F.W. Auxiliary, Past President of the American Legion Auxiliary, Past President of Manitowoc County Council of American Legion Auxiliary, the Manitowoc Women's Bowling Association and a past officer, 600 bowling club of WI, the Senior Center of Manitowoc and the Senior Center Gift Shop and in April of 2008 she was inducted into the Manitowoc USBC Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame. Marge especially enjoyed spending time with her family, crafting, casino trips and dinning out.

Survivors include a son: David Siehr, Manitowoc; a daughter: Sharon Vollendorf, Fond du Lac; a daughter-in-law: Cyndie Siehr, Manitowoc four grandchildren: Dawn (Brian) Kisner, Dover, DE, Daniel (Jenny) Siehr, Sun Prairie, Dean Siehr and his fiancé Becky Fuller, Green Bay, Deanne (Patrick) Weier, Manitowoc; five very special great grandchildren: Amanda Herlache, Cole & Payton Anna Siehr, Tyler Gass, Jarrett Weier; one sister and brother-in-law: Kathleen Brunner, Whitelaw, Robert Wallander, Manitowoc; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Victor (Florence) Siehr, Manitowoc, Marjorie Wells, Madison, Barbara Behringer, Green Bay; two special little friends next door: Coty and Breanne Tulach. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son: Wayne (Whitey) Siehr; mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law: Roy and Laura Vollendorf, Ivan and Elsie Siehr; daughter-in-law: Karen Siehr; two sisters and brother-in-law: Delores & Raymond Reimer and Elaine Wallander; two brothers: Arthur and Norbert Vogel: three brothers-in-law: Howard Brunner, John Wells and John Behringer; and three sisters-in-law: Ann (Midge)Vogel and Georgiana Siehr and Dorothy Rockwell Vogel.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. William Van Dynhoven with entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc, to take place at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, Manitowoc, from 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2013 until 10:45 a.m.

In Lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Marjorie's name.
