Kohlman, Mary A.

Mary A. Kohlman, age 77, of rural Mount Calvary, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, May 27, 2013, at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.

The former Mary Weber was born May 10, 1936, in the Town of Forest near Mount Calvary; a daughter of the late Herman & Olive (Brenner) Weber.

Mary attended Holy Cross Grade School in Mount Calvary. She graduated from Goodrich High School in 1954.

On May 5, 1956, she married Joseph Kohlman at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mount Calvary. Joseph preceded her in death on January 5, 1997.

Mary and her husband farmed in the Town of Taycheedah. She had also worked for a short time at Giddings & Lewis.

She was a member of St. Isidore Parish - Holy Cross Church in Mount Calvary. Mary cherished her family. She enjoyed traveling. She loved polka music; attending many dances with her sisters.

Survivors include her five children, Elaine (Elton) Wegner of Van Dyne, Alan (Jean) Kohlman of Fond du Lac, Tony Kohlman of Mount Calvary, Carolyn (Ralph) Muellenbach of Marytown, and Paul Kohlman and his fiancée, Megan, of Fond du Lac; seven grandchildren, Joseph, Tracy, Brian, Sarah, Greg, Cassandra, and Taylor; a great-granddaughter, Alysandra; four sisters, Sr. Elaine Weber of Kewaskum, Luella Leitner of Chilton, June (Ralph) Birschbach of Mount Calvary, and Verna Mae Weber of Fond du Lac; five sisters-in-law, Rita Weber and Katie Weber, both of Mount Calvary, Catherine (Gerald) Kulow of Elkhart Lake, Anna Mae (Delmar) Entringer of St. Cloud, and Dolores Kohlmann of Armstrong; three brothers-in-law, Michael Michels of Woodhull, Eugene Kohlmann of Fond du Lac, and Donald Birschbach of Woodhull.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Herman & Olive Weber; two brothers, LeRoy & Merle Weber; a sister, Dellene Michels; her father-in-law & mother-in-law, August & Anna Kohlmann; two brothers-in-law, Joseph Leitner and Alfred Kohlmann; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Ann Kohlmann and Rosemary Birschbach.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM noon on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at St. Isidore Parish - Holy Cross Church, 308 County Road W in Mount Calvary. Rev. Gary Wegner OFM Cap. will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Charles Cemetery in the Town of Taycheedah.

Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 - 11:45 AM.
