Lapine, Benjamin "Ben' H.

Benjamin "Ben" H. LaPine, 86, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, October 27, 2013, at his residence. He was born January 26, 1927, in Fond du Lac, the son of Harry and Ethel Bott LaPine. On September 16, 1950, he married Patricia A. Savage at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chilton. Ben worked in heating and air conditioning and later in maintenance. He was a member of Holy Family Parish and Eagles Aerie #270. Ben enjoyed his family, woodcarving, hunting, fishing, traveling, and times spent at the cottage.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia "Pat" LaPine, Fond du Lac; two daughters, Barbara (Stephen) Paulick, River Falls, WI and Sharon (Butch) Boodry, Tipler, WI; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; his companion, Clancy. He is further survived by four sisters, Alice Palkovich, Audrey Prink, June Burns, and Gertrude (Stuart) Blau, all of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter; three brothers; one sister.

VISITATION: The visitation will be held from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Thursday from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at the church. FUNERAL: The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 31, 2013, at Sacred Heart Church, Holy Family Parish. Cremation will follow the traditional services.
