Barbara Pauline Shoop Obituary
Barbara Pauline Shoop, 89 of Madison, died Friday, June 15, 2018 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Grace United Methodist Church in Madison, with burial to follow in the Sunset Hills Cemetery in Madison. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the church on Wednesday.
Bobbie was born on November 6, 1928 in Cuba, IL, the daughter of Earl Lewis and Edna Marie (Strode) Rock.
On June 28, 1949, in Cuba, IL, Bobbie married Robert "Bob" Shoop, and he preceded her in death on March 20, 2017.
Bobbie is survived by one son; Charles (Chuck) Conover of New Palestine, Indiana; one daughter; Roberta (Bert) M. (Don) Bryson of Centralia, Missouri; four grandchildren Jeffrey Robert Bryson, wife-Stefanie (Bader) of Centralia, Mo; Jody M. (Bryson) Confer, husband Nicholas of Centralia, MO; Rhonda (Conover) Groothuis, husband Mike of Niles, MI; Rhenee (Conover) Florian, husband Jim of Snohomish, WA; and 3 great-grandchildren, Sierra Bryson of Madison, MO and Centralia, MO; Skylar Bryson of Centralia, MO; Jameson Logan Robert Florian of Snohomish.
Along with her husband, Robert, Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, and two siblings, James "Jim" Rock, Mae Cluts.
Bobbie loved her family and enjoyed working on the farm with her husband. Bobbie loved her pets and enjoyed raising chickens. She attended Grace United Methodist Church in Madison.
