Shirley Lois McBride Obituary
Shirley Lois McBride, 79, Centralia, MO, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at her home. She was born April 19, 1939, the daughter of the late C.C. and Lois (Weakley) Carr.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters Cheryl Bradley and her husband Mark of Florence, KY and Susan Miller and her husband Bret of Moberly, MO; one son Larry Dale McBride and his wife Patty of Centralia, MO; a daughter in law Karla McBride of Centralia, MO; eight grandchildren Trace Bradley, Addison Bradley, Jeff McBride, Melissa McBride, Austin McBride, Derek Cossey, Brittney McBride and Seton Miller; one great grandchild Kylee McBride; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, three sons John McBride, Michael McBride and Milton McBride, one granddaughter Brek Miller, one brother and four sisters preceded her in death.
Shirley first worked for Prenger Foods in the deli and later as a cook at Heritage Hall Nursing Center. She volunteered for the F&L Hustlers 4-H Club, was a member of Tulip Christian Church and enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family, especially all of her grandchildren.
Funeral services were 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Interment was in the Centralia City Cemetery. Visitation was from 12:00 pm until service time on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Centralia Fairgrounds or to the Seventh Day Adventist Community Services, c/o Oliver Funeral Home, P.O. Box 125, Centralia, MO 65240.
