Bobby Gene Reeves Obituary
Bobby Gene Reeves, 82, of Clark, MO, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, MO.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Perche Baptist Church in Clark, MO. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the church with Rev. Don Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Perche Baptist Cemetery with full military honors.
Bobby was born on February 3, 1936 in Meadville, MO the son of Vernie and Thelma (Wheelbarger) Reeves who preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the US Army serving for two years in Germany and then served with the Missouri National Guard. Bobby worked for 20 years for AB Chance Company and then for 20 years for the City of Columbia Water Department, retiring in 2001. He was married on January 14. 1961 to Connie Mills, who preceded him in death in 2001. He then married Wanda (Moore) Tomlin in Harrisburg, MO on August 15, 2015.
Survivors include: his wife, Wanda Reeves of the home; twin daughters, Connie Sue Hanks (Craig) of Cowarts, AL and Linda Jean Stover (Les) of Chattanooga, TN; one granddaughter, Ashlynn Stover of Chattanooga, TN; one brother, Clyde Reeves (Mary) of Harrisburg, MO; one sister, Darlene Strawn (Eddie Burnett) of Harrisburg, MO; three step-children, Bob Tomlin of Centralia, MO, Debbie Turner (James) of Sturgeon, MO and Vicky Roberts (Gary) of Columbia, MO; five step-grandchildren and one step-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Perche Cemetery Association, c/o Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 West, Columbia, MO 65202.
