Loving mother, grandmother, and sister; 79
FITCHBURG -- Claire I. (Cote) Turgeon, 79, of Fitchburg, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at Health Alliance Leominster Hospital.
Mrs. Turgeon was born in Fitchburg on May 19, 1933, a daughter of the late Ernest and Aline (Vincent) Cote, and has resided in Fitchburg for many years.
She was the wife of 45 years of the late Leo J. Turgeon who had died in May, 2004.
Mrs. Turgeon is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis R. and Lynn A. Turgeon of Fitchburg; her daughter and son-in-law, Donna M. and Roland E. Lortie of Winchendon; two brothers, Roger Cote of Fitchburg, Roland Cote of Gardner; one sister, Lucille Lemire of Fitchburg; four grandchildren, Ernest Turgeon, Eric J. Shaylor, Jessica M. Lortie, Kirstin E. Lortie; two great-grandchildren, Shane Burke, Richard Thompson.
Mrs. Turgeon was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church.
She enjoyed camping, craft fairs, flowers and decorating for the holidays. Mrs. Turgeon also enjoyed shopping at the Christmas' Tree Shop.
TURGEON -- A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 5th at St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland Street, Fitchburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are 6-8 p.m., Monday, March 4th at the Louis M. Isabelle Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon Street, Fitchburg. Please see www.isabellefuneral.com for additional information.

Sincere sympathies to the Turgeon/Cote families during this very difficult time. I did not know Claire personally but enjoyed hearing about her through my brother in law Roger (Cote)!!! Roger and my sister in law Jeannine loved Claire with a passion and I know that her memory will live through them for a very long time.
