Souther, Sharon A.  
Sharon A. Souther of Shirley; 62 SHIRLEY -- Sharon A. Souther, of Shirley, 62, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, after a long courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born on August 20, 1952 in Ayer, the daughter of John L. and Phyllis L. (Barnard) Souther. She graduated from Leominster High School, class of 1970. Employed for many years at Digital Equipment Corporation, working in Maynard, Westminster, and Marlborough. She was a member of the Joanettes Drum and Bugle Corps as a snare drummer. She was an avid New England sports fan. She leaves sisters, Donna Roy (Bernie) of Russell, Debra Brassard (Paul) of Leominster, Linda Souther of Shirley, Judy Carlberg (Rob) of Leominster, Cheryl Trainor of North Brookfield; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother (1996), father (2012), and brother-in-law, Kevin Trainor (2012). She will be sadly missed by all who loved her, but will be remembered by her singing of "Tiny Bubbles." The family would like to thank the staff of the Apple Valley Center for the care they provided and the many friendships developed between Sharon and the staff. St. Jean, Irene M. (Seguin)  
Irene M. (Seguin) St. Jean of Leominster, MA; 85 LEOMINSTER -- Irene M. (Seguin) St. Jean 85, of Leominster, MA. passed away peacefully in Health Alliance Leominster Hospital with her family at her side. Irene was born in Fitchburg, MA. July 29, 1929, the daughter of Edward and Edwardina (LaFleur) Seguin. She attended and graduated from St. Bernard's Central Catholic High School, Class of 1947. She lived most of her life in Lunenburg and Leominster, MA. Irene and her late husband Robert, had opened a real estate brokerage known as Fitchburg Reality in 1942. After they moved to Leominster, MA. they adopted the name Dorado Realty, which together they operated for many years. Irene was a licensed broker and was also a licensed Insurance agent. Irene was always working, and until her retirement several years ago, she worked as an executive assistant for the former Digital Equipment Corporation for over fifteen years. She always kept active, she made several trips out west on hiking and climbing excursions, and she enjoyed exercising, reading, traveling and especially her family. She was a faithful communicant at Our lady of the Lake Church in Leominster, MA. She is survived by her four children, son's Robert E. and wife Gail St. Jean of Clinton, MA., Bruce F. and wife Paula St. Jean of Lunenburg, MA. Steven R. and wife Christine St. Jean of Fitchburg, MA. her daughter Deborah I, and husband Alan LaValley, with whom she lived, of Leominster, MA., eight grandchildren, Rachel, Zachery, Kristen, Jeffery, Marc, Danielle, Jennifer, Julie , six great- grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her husband Robert J. St. Jean in 1984. ST. JEAN -- At the request of Irene all funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours. Interment will take place in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA. In Lieu of flowers donations in her memory may made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Tellier, Francis E.  
Francis E. Tellier Leominster, MA native, WWll Vet; 91 PORT ORANGE, FL -- Francis E. Tellier, 91, passed away peacefully on 2/23/15 in the presence of his daughters at Halifax Hospital in Port Orange, Florida, after a long battle with COPD. He was born on 12/21/1923 in the city of Leominster to Alexander and Sophranie (Cabana) Tellier. Francis served in the USN during WWII, held the rank of EM3/C and served on board the battleship USS Washington. He traveled the world from Iceland down to the South Pacific Islands. After the service, Francis worked testing generators at General Electric, sold insurance for John Hancock Ins. Co. and worked at the Fitchburg Paper Co. from which he retired in 1985. Being able to spend time and provide for his family was his greatest pleasure. He was a Little League coach and umpire. He loved to kid everyone with his quirky sayings and engage his children and grandchildren with stories, puzzles and songs. He retired to Port Orange, FL where he was a member of the Daytona Beach CC, Horizon Church, Nursing Home Ministry and the choral group at Pickwick Village. He was a faithful husband and loving Grandpa who also enjoyed watching sports, playing cards, reading, golf, and walking. He is survived by his children, Steven Tellier of Leominster, MA, Susan Gamache and husband, Roger of Sutton, MA, Jane Fischer and husband, Kevin of Port Orange, FL, and Peter Tellier and wife, Carmen of Plymouth, MA; as well as his eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was recently preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Lorraine Tellier who died 2/3/15. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Raymond and Ernest, and sister, Clarice Gordon. There will be a cremation with burial at a later date.

Theresa M. Tremblay of Fitchburg; 103 LEOMINSTER -- Theresa M. Tremblay, 103, of Fitchburg, died Saturday, February 21, 2015, in the The Highlands, Fitchburg, MA. She was born in Leominster, MA, on November 11, 1911, the daughter of the late Henry and the late Elodia (Roberge) Tremblay. Ms. Tremblay attended Leominster Schools, including St. Cecilia's School. She worked at Cluett & Peabody and Bradlees. She was a lifelong member of St. Cecilia's Church, and a former member of the Franco American Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Rene Tremblay, and her sisters, Cecile Auffrey, Pauline Duchesneau, Naomi Grenier, Helen Poirier, and her nephew and godson, Roger Auffrey. TREMBLAY -- Her funeral Mass will be held at Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 10:00 am in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic Street, Leominster. Burial will be at a later date in St. Cecilia's Cemetery. Cynthia S. Valcourt of Gardner; 59 GARDNER -- Cynthia S. (Goss) Valcourt, 59, of Gardner, formerly of Fitchburg, died Thursday, February 26, 2015, in the Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Cynthia was born in Fitchburg, May 1, 1955, daughter of Gertrude (Melanson) Goss. She attended Fitchburg High School and graduated from Mt. Wachusett Community College. She had worked for Children's Aid and Family Services Inc., and then ran her own Family Day Care. She had been involved in Foster Care with L.U.K. Cynthia enjoyed the beach, Lake George, riding motorcycles and taking long car rides. Her grandchildren were always #1. She leaves her husband, James E. Valcourt; three children, James E. Valcourt Jr., of Athol, Shelly D. Valcourt of Westminster, and Jeremy D. Valcourt of Gardner; her grandchildren, Jeremy Rosado, Justin Valcourt, Isabella Valcourt, Jaclyn Valcourt, Alivia and Maryssah Valcourt and their mother, Tara Williams, and Jordan Valcourt and his mother, Shannon Fors; a great-grandchild, Jeneya Rosado; her brothers, Wayne Goss of Westminster, Bruce Goss of Leominster and Keith Goss of Gardner; one sister, Sandy Salmond of Fitchburg; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Sharon Siart. VALCOURT -- A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Aubuchon-Moorcroft Funeral Home, 132 Woodland St Fitchburg. Elizabeth M. "Betty" (Aubrey) Withington longtime resident of Fitchburg; 79 FITCHBURG -- Elizabeth M. "Betty" (Aubrey) Withington, 79, a longtime resident of Fitchburg, died Monday, February 23, 2015 at Valley Stream Nursing Home, Fitchburg. Her husband of 39 years, George E. Withington, died January 11, 1998. Mrs. Withington was born in Walpole, NH, April 23, 1935, a daughter of William and Mildred (Sweet) Aubrey and resided much of her life in Fitchburg. She had worked several years at Celluplastics Company in Fitchburg. She was an avid Bingo player, and she enjoyed attending flea markets with her husband as well playing cards and looking after her pets, especially her many dogs and birds throughout the years. She is survived by six sisters, Ruth Marie Chase of Rumford, ME, Bernice Adkins, Charlotte Aguilar, Dawn Graves, Cora Chase, and Ernestine Jones all of Florida; a brother, Ervin Chase Jr. of Florida; two nieces, Deborah Serafini of New Ipswich, NH, Dorothy Bourgeois of Winchendon and a great-niece, Lindsey Serafini of New Ipswich, NH, as well as several other nieces and nephews.
