Mark T. Seiler of Townsend Mark T. Seiler, 53, formerly of Beech Street, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at his home. A graveside service will be held 11 AM, Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Hillside Cemetery, Highland St., Townsend. Afterwards there will be a reception at the Townsend Ridge Country Club 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. There are no calling hours. The T. J. Spaulding, Robert C.  
Robert C. Spaulding Lifelong resident of Shirley, WWll Vet; 92 SHIRLEY -- Robert C. Spaulding, 92, a longtime resident of Townsend Road, died Monday, November 17, 2014, at Apple Valley Center, Ayer. His first wife, Blanche J. (LaPorte) Spaulding, died in 1982. His second wife, Rosamond C. (Jean) Spaulding, died in 2009. Mr. Spaulding was born in Shirley, October 15, 1922, a son of Harold and Mildred (Elliot) Spaulding, and was a lifelong Shirley resident. For over 40 years, Mr. Spaulding worked at Hollingsworth & Vose Company in West Groton. During WWlI, he served his country in the United States Army. He leaves a son, Robert Spaulding of West Virginia; two daughters, Joanne M. Gravell of Greenville, NH, Susan B. Ashcroft of Florida; a sister, Mildred Kelley of Townsend; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late George Spaulding of Shirley who died in 1968, Richard R. Spaulding Sr. of Fitchburg who died in 2007, Raymond R. Spaulding of Rochester, NH who died in 2007; the grandfather of the late James Gravell Jr. of Wakefield, NH who died in 2007, Richard Spaulding Jr. of Ayer in 2010, Lisa Englehart of Fitchburg in March 2014, and the great-grandfather of Christopher Brinkley of Fitchburg also in March 2014. SPAULDING -- Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, November 24th at Center Cemetery, Brown Road, Shirley. There are no calling hours. The T.J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road, Ayer is assisting the family with arrangements.

Marie A. St. Onge of Fitchburg; 85 FITCHBURG -- Marie Anne (Guizard) St. Onge, 85 years old, of Fitchburg, died Friday, November 14, 2014, in her home after an illness. She is survived by her children, Norman E. St. Onge, Jr. of Boston, Sally A. Duval of Pennsylvania, Philip A. St. Onge of Townsend, Brent P. St. Onge of Peabody, and Cindee M. Day of Fitchburg; sister, Ellen Zangi of Leominster; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Marie was predeceased by her husband, Norman E. St. Onge in 1973. She was also predeceased by her brother, Paul Guizard, and sister, Theresa Guizard. Marie was born in New Rochelle, NY on May 25, 1929 son of Paul and Anna (LaClair) Guizard, and had lived in this area most of her life. She graduated from St. Bernard's High School, and had worked as a health aide for Home Staff in Leominster for several years. Marie was a member of St. Camillus de Lellis Church and attended the Highlands Day Program. She had been a Den Mother in the Cub Scouts and in a bowling league several years ago. ST. Daniel Allen Dodge of Shirley, MA Daniel Allen Dodge, 46 years old, of Shirley, Massachusetts died November 7th from injuries sustained in 2012 after being hit by a motor vehicle. He leaves behind a sister Barbara and her husband Leonard of Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire, a nephew David Dodge, and his sister-in-law Sharon Dodge of Shirley, Massachusetts, along with people who loved him; Kelly White, Janet White, friends and cousins. He was a graduate of Nashoba Tech and loved to work on cars. The family requests a private ceremony to be held at a later date.

St. Pierre, Claude N.  
Claude N. St. Pierre of Fitchburg; 78 FITCHBURG -- Claude N. St. Pierre, 78, of Fitchburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2014 in the Sterling Village Nursing Home. Claude was born in Gardner on December 26, 1935, a son of the late Romeo and Alexandria St. Pierre. He worked for Simplex in Westminster for over 40 years, retiring in 1992. Claude was a member of the Fitchburg Senior Center and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also a car enthusiast. He leaves his daughter, Kathleen St. Pierre-Mujuzi and her husband Robert of Fitchburg; a sister Theresa Rainey of Templeton; many nieces and nephews. Claude was predeceased by his wife Lucille (Morin) St. Pierre in December of 2013. ST. PIERRE -- A calling hour will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Friday, November 21 from 12:00-1:00pm. A memorial service will follow at 1:00pm. Burial will be private.

Hirst, M. Madeline (Cummings)  
M. Madeline (Cummings) Hirst lifelong resident of Fitchburg; 76 FITCHBURG -- M. Madeline (Cummings) Hirst, 76, of Fitchburg, died on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at The Highlands in Fitchburg after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, J. Todd Hirst; two children, Carol A. Toland and her husband Wayne of Fitchburg, James T. Hirst and his wife Patricia of Leominster; six grandchildren, Rebecca, Bethany, Mariah and Josiah Benoit, Abigail Toland, Anthony Hirst; her "adopted" daughter, Susan McPartlan of Portland, ME; and her cousin, Catherine LaLancette of Ashburnham. Madeline was born on August 9, 1938, in Fitchburg, the daughter of Francis J. and M. Madeline (LeClair) Cummings. She graduated from St. Bernard's High School and was a lifelong resident of Fitchburg. Mrs. Hirst worked as a secretary for St. John's Parish in Townsend for twenty-seven years and worked as a bookkeeper for Sacred Heart Church in Fitchburg for forty-three years. Madeline always looked forward to hosting holidays and birthday parties for her family and friends. She enjoyed going out to eat and shopping. Madeline loved traveling with her husband, children and grandchildren. HIRST -- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Parish, 49 Woodland Street, Fitchburg. All guests attending the funeral are instructed to meet directly at the church on Friday morning. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Fitchburg. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Church, Vernon Street, Fitchburg. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be made in Madeline's memory to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Andrew J. Langlois formerly of Fitchburg, MA; 69 LAGRANGE, ME -- Andrew J. Langlois, 69, of LaGrange, ME formerly of Fitchburg, MA passed away Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014 at his home. He resided in ME for over 30 years. He was born in Fitchburg at the Lucy Helen Hospital, the youngest child of the late Albert J. and Adrienne M. (Legere) Langlois. He attended Fitchburg High School and was a machinist / mold maker at local manufacturers for many years before moving to Maine. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling throughout the U.S. He leaves his longtime partner, Annette, her two children Colin and Sarah, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He leaves the Mother of his two children, Judithe Richard of Winchendon, MA; Andrew Langlois of Leominster, MA and Donna Brady and her husband Joseph of Lunenburg. MA and 6 grandchildren. He also leaves two sisters Pauline Dowd of Farmington, CT and Anita Dube of Westminster, an uncle Philip Legere of Fitchburg, many cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces / nephews in addition to many friends in Maine. He is predeceased by his brother Paul Langlois and sister Lorraine Blanchard. A private service will be held in Maine.

Lussier, Helen Frances (Mitchell)  
Helen Frances (Mitchell) Lussier Longtime Westminster Resident; 92 WESTMINSTER -- Helen Frances (Mitchell) Lussier, 92, died Saturday, November 15, 2014, at River Terrace Health Care Center, in Lancaster. She was the wife of the late Peter J. Lussier, who died on January 24, 1958. She leaves two daughters, Bonnie Werner, and her husband Joel, of Westminster, and Patricia Lakso, of Beverly, two grandchildren, Peter Werner of Westminster, and Julie Gaffey, and her husband David, and her great-grandson Jackson Gaffey, all of Oaks Bluffs, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her step-mother, Victoria Mitchell, and two brothers, Robert Mitchell, and Theodore Mitchell, one sister Gladys Brehio of Templeton. She was born in Union, Maine, on December 9, 1921, a daughter of the late Carl and Addie (Prescott) Mitchell. She graduated from Union High School, and from Malden Business School in Malden, MA. After graduation, Helen worked for the War Dept. in Washington, D.C. for three years, then for John Hancock in Boston for two years, before settling in Gardner, with her husband. She then worked for over 30 years at the Gardner State Hospital, as the Secretary in the Superintendents Office, retiring in 1977; she also worked for the Community Treatment Program in Fitchburg. She was very devoted mother and grandmother, always putting others needs ahead of her own. In addition to her long secretarial career, Helen was a softball coach, doing crossword puzzles. She was an excellent seamstress; she loved to make clothes for her family. She was very well known for her cooking especially for her chocolate chip cookies. She loved to participate in her children's and grandchildren's activities, and playing bingo and "high stakes gambling" with friends at Foxwoods and Atlantic City. Helen's family extends its deep and sincere thanks and gratitude to the entire staff and volunteers at River Terrace and the Beacon Hospice for the care and compassion they have exhibited over the past several years. LUSSIER -- Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., in the Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home, 123 Main Street, Westminster, MA. Burial will follow in the Wildwood Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA. Mayranen, Terttu Elizabeth (Inki)  
Terttu Elizabeth (Inki) Mayranen former Westminster Resident; 91 WESTMINSTER -- Terttu Elizabeth (Inki) Mayranen, 91, formerly of Westminster, passed away, November 9, 2014, at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, MN after an illness. She was born on December 4, 1922, in Monson, ME, a daughter of the late Lauri, and Fanny Inki, she grew up in Ashby, and graduated from Ashby High School. She was the wife of the late Wilho W. Mayranen. She and Wilho were married in 1942 and lived in Westminster, where they raised three children, two sons, and a daughter. Terttu was an avid gardener and craft person; she served as a Deaconess at the First Congregational Church of Westminster, and volunteered as a Cub Scout Den Mother and Girl Scout Leader. After Wilho passed away in 2010, she moved to Ely, Minnesota to be closer to her son Eric, and daughter Valerie, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She lived independently in Ely, tending to her garden, flower beds and enjoyed having the family near by, until the time of her passing. Terttu is preceded in death by her parents, Lauri and Fanny; her husband, Wilho Sr.; and by her eldest son, Wilho Jr., who disappeared in Alaska in 1975. She leaves her son Eric, Mayranen and his wife Charlotte, of Ely, MN, her daughter Valerie Hill and her husband Kim, of Gilbert, MN; three grandchildren Robert Mayranen, Janelle Hart and Keith Mayranen; three great-grandchildren, Gunnar Hart, Sabrah Hart, and Cooper Mayranen. MAYRANEN -- Terttu will return to Westminster, to be buried in the family Plot. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. in the Woodside Cemetery, 9 Narrows Road, Westminster, MA. The Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home, 123 Main Street, Westminster is assisting the family with Funeral Services.
