LEOMINSTER -- Albert D. Crowley, 87 years old, of Leominster, died Sunday, March 17, 2013 in the Life Care Center of Leominster after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife of 34 years Beverly R. (Parkinson) Crowley, son Francis Crowley of Xenia, OH, daughter Noel Goyette of Derry, NH, stepsons David Jafferian of Rhode Island, Michael Jafferian of California and Dean Jafferian of Halifax, brother Joseph Forget of Pepperell, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Albert was born in Boston on April 7, 1925, son of David and Celia (Butts) Crowley and lived in Florida for 14 years before returning to the Fitchburg/Leominster area in 2000.

He was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran, serving on the USS Luce and USS Chicago. He enjoyed going to his Navy Reunions. Albert had worked as a paper maker in Fitchburg for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved animals. Albert was a very caring man and had a great sense of humor.

CROWLEY -- A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 11:30 am in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster. Burial with military honors will be at 1 pm in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon. www.richardsonfuneralhome.net
