Cecile Florence (Poitras) LeBlanc

Fitchburg native, St. Joseph Church member

LEOMINSTER -- Cecile Florence (Poitras) LeBlanc, 92, died Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at Golden Living Center, Fitchburg.

Her husband, Edward LeBlanc, died in 1985.

Mrs. LeBlanc was born in Fitchburg, October 24, 1919, a daughter of Ozias and Evelina (Savoie) Poitras, and resided much of her life in Fitchburg before moving to Leominster in 1990.

For 37 years, she worked as a spinner at the former Fitchburg Yarn Co., retiring in 1982. She later worked two years at Burbank Hospital.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Fitchburg.

Mrs. LeBlanc enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and knitting.

She leaves several nieces and nephews including Elaine Jotka of Leominster.

Mrs. LeBlanc was was predeceased by her twin sister, Alice M. Archambault of Leominster in 2009.

She was also the sister of the late Euclide Poitras, William Poitras, Clarles Poitras, Francis Poitras, Albert Poitras, Joseph Poitras, Florida M.L. Fluet, Irene Poitras, and Florence Dube.

LEBLANC -- A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 A.M., Wednesday, October 24th at St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland Street, Fitchburg. There are no calling hours. The Louis M.
