FITCHBURG -- Cheryl A. (Prince) Flanagan, 49, of Fitchburg, died Sunday, Dec. 16, in the UMass Memorial Healthcare's Belmont St. Campus.
Cheryl was born in Fitchburg on Oct. 27, 1963, a daughter of the late, Ernest and Claire (Maguy) Prince. She graduated from St. Bernard's High School in 1981.
Cheryl was a postal clerk at the Fitchburg Post Office for 24 years and also worked part time for Cormier Catering. She was an avid cook who always enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Several years ago she was a member of the color guard for the Fitchburg Kingsmen Drum &Bugle Corps.
She leaves a sister, Kathy Coder and her husband Tim of Fitchburg; a niece Kristy Tedeschi and her husband Brad and their newborn son, Trevor; an aunt, Irene Prince of Fitchburg and several other cousins. She is predeceased by a brother Michael Prince of Fitchburg.
FLANAGAN -- A private graveside service will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd. is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
