FITCHBURG -- Clarence H. Green, 84 of Fitchburg died Sunday, February 17th in HealthAlliance /Leominster Hospital. Clarence was born June 20, 1928 in Wolcott, VT. Son of Ralph and Lila (Lanphere) Green. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Before moving to Fitchburg he had been a dairy farmer in Vermont and had worked here in Fitchburg for Arn-How Farm. He had worked as a carpenter and roofer for Maki Home Center and Jonas Eskola.

His wife Olive (Hodgdon) Green died in 1996. He leaves a son Aaron and his wife Jessie Green in Florida and a daughter Dawn and her husband James Tigs of Fitchburg, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sons Robert, Curtis and Morris.

GREEN -- A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, Feb. 21st at 11:00am in the Aubuchon-Moorcroft Funeral Home, 132 Woodland St., Fitchburg. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Fitchburg. A calling hour will be held Thursday morning from 10 until 11am in the funeral home.
