FITCHBURG -- Dominga Toro, 70, of Fitchburg, died Sunday, Nov. 18, in the UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
She was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on May 12, 1942, a daughter of the late Pedro and Margarita (Malague) Toro.
Dominga worked several years at the former Foster Grant Company in Leominster prior to her retirement.
She was a loving mother to her three children, sons, Felix Torres and his wife Gloria of Florida and Hector Torres and his wife, Roswitha "Rosey" of Gardner and daughter, Berenid Torres of Leominster; a brother, Rosaly Toro of Puerto Rico; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
TORO -- Her funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 24, at 10 AM in the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held on Friday, Nov. 23, from 4 to 6 PM.
