LUNENBURG -- Edmund G. Page, 82, a resident of Lunenburg for over 30 years, died died Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at at his home.

He was the husband of the late Carmen (Behling) Rock Page who died in December 2007, and Barbara (Walker) Page who died in 1981.

Mr. Page was born in Boston, July 6, 1930, a son of Cornelius and Charlotte (Brock) Page, and resided many years in Pepperell before moving to Lunenburg in the early 1980's.

For over 20 years, Mr. Page served his country in the United States Army retiring in 1973 at the rank of CW-4. Following his retirement from the armed forces, Mr. Page worked several years as a counselor at MCI- Shirley. He enjoyed listing to books on tape and Irish music.

He leaves his son, US Army LTC (P) Neil E. Page MD stationed in South Carolina: two daughters, Catherine A. Ciccone of Lunenburg, Barbara L. Hixson of Illinois; a stepson, Randy Rock of Shirley; two stepdaughters, Linda Kavalanis and Cynthia Rock both of California; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was the father of the late Jeffrey Bender of E. Alstead, NH, Peter Bender of Florida, the stepfather of Charles J. Rock of Lunenburg, and the brother of the late Charlotte Page of W. Roxbury, and Cornelia Reiniger of Pepperell.

In the last years of his life, he was able to live at home under the 24 hour care of Christy Coleman and her wonderful staff of loving caregivers. The family would like to thank them from the bottom of our hearts for all they did so that he could remain at home.

PAGE -- Service of committal with military honors will be 2 pm, Monday, April 29, 2013 at the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon. There are no calling hours. The T.J.
