Jane H. (Morand) Cormier

lifelong Fitchburg resident; 87

FITCHBURG -- Jane H. (Morand) Cormier, 87, of Fitchburg, died Monday, December 3, 2012, at her residence.

Her husband of 54 years, Henry W. "Bunny" Cormier, died in October 2000.

She was born in Fitchburg on June 5, 1925, the daughter of Napoleon and Angie (McKay) Morand and was a lifelong Fitchburg resident.

She attended St. Bernard's High School Class of 1944. She was a communicant of Madonna of the Holy Rosary Church and very much enjoyed working in her flower garden. Mrs. Cormier worked over twenty five years as a waitress at the Fitchburg Lodge of Elks.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James M. and Lee Cormier of Fitchburg and David S. and Brenda Cormier of East Templeton; two daughters Joyce A. Sullivan of Fitchburg and Marsha J. Cormier of Peterborough, NH. She also leaves five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

CORMIER -- A funeral liturgy will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 8th at St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland Street, Fitchburg.

Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fitchburg.

A visitation period will be 9:30 -- 10:30AM Saturday at the Louis M. Isabelle Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon Street, Fitchburg. Please see www.isabellefuneral.com for additional information.
